If you know of a soldier who would like to be on the first come first serve list to receive a package for this Christmas, please contact Jay or Pat (573)-253-4100 or you may email us at, christmas4troops@gmail.com for inquiries. Public welcome to join us Sat. Dec. 8th 6:00 PM at Refuge Building at 1004 West Liberty St. for the Soldier's Christmas Event. Thank you for supporting our Troops!

COME JOIN US! PICNIC JULY 28, 2012 SPEAKER HECTOR MALDONADO for US Senate

Come join us for a hot dog roast picnic at the Jaycee shelter park near the Historical museum in Mexico, MO starting at 6:00 PM Saturday July 28th. Featuring speaker Hector Maldonado for Senatorial Seat from Missouri, currently held by Claire McCaskill. Fun for the whole family.  Food, Games, music, raffles, and a park for the kids. We hope to see you there!

Soldiers' Christmas Event

Join us Friday December 9th 2011, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Coach's Pizza World 112 S. Washington Street, Mexico Mo for the second annual event. It will be a family oriented night themed in a Christmas and Patriotic atmosphere filled with candlelight prayer for our troops, entertainment, free coffee, hot chocolate and cookies Hear our soldiers and or veterans speak about their experiences. Free cards will be available at the event for those who would like give our troops and veterans a personal thanks. We ask that you do not seal envelopes for security reasons.
Cards for troops will be mailed in care packages to our troops for Christmas and Christmas cards for veterans will be distributed at the VA Home in Mexico, MO

Needed items for troops are: baby wipes, razors, shaving cream, soap, deodorant, toothpaste toothbrushes, hand warmers, snacks, gum, snack cakes, candy, jerky ( beef only), Drop boxes are available at Hickmans IGA, Walgreens, Westlakes, Dollar General S. Clark St. only, Orschelns, Caseys Hwy 54 East Only, and Wal-mart in Mexico, Mo.

Free cards and a drop box are available at Graphitti 124 W. Promenade 224 W. Promenade, Mexico, MO For those who would like leave a donation for shipping or to have their soldier or veteran's picture and shared information for posted at the event may do so by dropping it by Graphitti and may be picked up after December 11th weekdays.

This event is launched by the citizens of Mexico, MO and the surrounding areas, who are the ones who make it happen.
